 Question: "How can I benefit from GRES’s Contract Analysis and Restructuring Services?”:

  1. From extensive networks of feedstock suppliers, Global Renewable Energy Service’s expert consultants and laboratory scientists will determine economically feasible feedstock sources based on your production facility location, supported transport types (rail, ship, truck, etc.), processing capabilities, regional climate, and applicable government incentives.  
     
  2. The GRES team will optimize feedstock supply contracts to obtain multiple feedstocks to diversify your inputs to production.  Most suitable seasonally changing feedstock arrangements may be defined in order to enhance production of different fuel grades, e.g. winterized biodiesel during cold weather seasons.
     
  3. By utilizing the global laboratory networks, the best biodiesel specifications for beyond-ASTM compliance may be formulated.   Specifications will allow for branded biodiesel bearing the GRES label.  

    GRES branded fuels will carry a guarantee up to $1,000,000.00 for equipment losses experienced by the end user: Specifications are achieved by a combination of fuels blending and proprietary additives packages specifically designed to meet end-user requirements.  Alternatively, the client may participate in agreements with other producers in which their products are blended at 3rd party terminals to achieve GRES branded fuel having quality exceeding that of any single facility.

  4. GRES will provide an off-take agreement for 100% of client’s production capacity.  Off-take agreement provides built-in profit margin above feedstock cost for client, providing insurance against feedstock market disruptions.
  5.  GRES will arrange logistics support for feedstock delivery and product distribution.

 

 

GRES Solution #2: Bio Fuel Plant Operations & Workflow Transformation

GRES’s hands-on solution helps analyze, evaluate, redesign and enhance your bio-fuel production facility’s capacity and performance to the optimal level.

Initially, our scientists and engineers will identify potential bottlenecks in your production’s operational and workflow systems.  Evaluation will assay your plant at all levels, from day-to-day operations and procedures, business management practice, and even up to overall technology evaluation and assessment.

GRES quality control methods exceed ASTM and other applicable international biodiesel standards.  Compliance with our quality programs guarantees the client’s the ability to participate in our profit-assured off-take agreement for GRES branded fuel.  The GRES quality control framework provides full and transparent auditing support:

  1. Initially, GRES will first evaluate operations management.  We provide capitol budgeting assistance, especially to identify where small investments could have large payoffs on your Return-on-Investment.   These services are relevant to feedstock delivery capabilities, on-site storage and handling procedures for feedstocks and fuels, and product distribution. 

  2. The GRES team can also contract for installation of additional, front-end pre-processing units to allow the client to handle additional feedstocks.  Other good examples include creating/modifying rail and water access to the plant, increasing tank farm size to handle increased storage vessel requirements associated with a multiple feedstock plant, and adding blending equipment. 

  3. On next step, will thoroughly evaluate both in-house (when applicable) and out-of-house fuels testing protocols for assaying biodiesel fuel quality.  GRES will determine the optimal mix of in-house analysis methods and provide purchasing support and training for introducing on-site analysis methods. 

  4. GRES will also provide contracting and consulting support for remaining off-site fuels testing.
     
  5. GRES quality control system will provide you with checklists for necessary testing at critical stages in the feedstock to product pathway, before the back-end of the plant.  GRES will design specifications and contract testing for feedstock quality. 

    Over time, GRES will calibrate the client’s plant to allow consistent product quality for the largest possible range of feedstock properties.  This calibration will involve Implementation of advanced statistical process monitoring and control algorithms.  Simulations of plant behavior can be developed to understand how input variability is attenuated or magnified by the process.
     
  6. Beyond testing the client’s fuel quality during the production process, GRES will also consult with the client to ensure up-to-date housekeeping, maintenance, and materials handling practices are applied.  This service will minimize the occurrence of fuel that leaves the plant on-spec, but arrives to customer off-spec.
     
  7. Optionally, GRES will evaluate the client’s working capitol (technology and machinery).  We will perform cost reduction assessments to identify energy efficiency improvements and engage in operational improvements such as waste streams reductions to increase the client’s profit margin.  GRES can also provide technology evaluations to determine if the client is taking full advantage of available feedstocks and co-products. 

  8. GRES provides troubleshooting consulting services by biodiesel experts to assist the client with rapid solutions for known and identified problems in their manufacturing process.
