Key Management

The team is a collaboration of experienced managers, operating executives and entrepreneurs.  The current management team is comprised of Dr. Richard Nassab, Eric Johnson, Sony Suzuki, Dr. Scott Beaver, Steve Huey, Jim Nissing, esq., Christopher Hawke, Dr. Randel Yano, Dr. Pete O’Hara.

The team is highly motivated, experienced and well qualified, with proven business start up skills including bottom line responsibility, as well as experience in operations, marketing, and finance.

Board of Directors

The board of directors consists of:

Dr. Richard G. Nassab, Co-Founder/CEO
Dr. Nassab is a highly successful entrepreneur of over 25 years with successes in varying industries such as healthcare and recyclables.  During his career he has developed an effective human capital management technique and an impressive international contact list.  Dr. Nassab has been active in the bio-fuels industry since 2004 as C.O.O. of Bio-Friendly Fuel Partners, LLC.


Eric Johnson, Co-Founder/C.O.O.
Eric has over 20 years experience with product and market development, business management, and strategic business planning.  His leadership skills become apparent immediately once engaged in a project.  Mr. Johnson has direct leadership experience with organizations varying in size from start-ups to billion dollar business units of Fortune 100 companies.  Mr. Johnson ha been active in the bio-fuels industry since 2004 as C.E.O. of Bio-Friendly Fuel Partners, LLC.


Dr. Scott Beaver, VP Research/Development
Dr. Scott Beaver is a renowned academic with multiple highly regarded published papers on air quality and vehicle emissions to his name.  Among his affiliations are working relationships with Lehigh University, (PA.) U.C. Davis, U.C. Riverside, and U.C. Berkeley (CA)   Dr. Beaver holds a Ph.D in Chemical engineering from U.C. Davis and a B.S. in Chemical engineering from Lehigh University.  Dr. Beaver has been involved in the bio-fuels industry since 2006 with Bio-Friendly Fuel Partners, LLC


Sony Suzuki, Director
Mr. Suzuki has established himself in the U.S. and internationally as a results oriented achiever.  Executive positions at IBM’s Asian business unit, and a principal role in the premier global digital media company, West Wing Studios, are but a few of the credits to his name.  Currently, Mr. Suzuki is also serving as an advisor with Federation of Thai Industry and a visiting Professor at DCU laboratories.


Jim Nissing, General Council

Mr. Nissing is an Washington State based attorney specializing in corporate law and corporate finance.  Mr. Nissing has worked with numerous companies at varied stages of development, from start-up through financing and onto final sale.  He has worked with Mr. Suzuki  and Mr. O’Hara for a number of years and has gained trusted status due to his commitment to getting the job done and his keen insight into the potential legal pitfalls.


Chris Hawke, C.F.O.

Mr. Hawke’s background as a highly successful real estate developer adds a needed dimension to the mix.  Specializing in complex projects in a highly litigious market such as California has honed Mr. Hawkes’ skill set to razor sharpness.  His vision and leadership have proven extremely valuable on many occasions.


Dr. Peter O’Hara, Director
Dr. O’Hara is an entrepreneur with varied experiences ranging from health care to energy and a successful track record that spans decades.  The contacts in many industries that Dr. O’Hara has are invaluable, and his vision is prophetic.


Dr. Randel Yano, Director

Dr. Yano has been immersed in agriculture all of his life.  Growing up in California’s Central Valley, he was exposed to many of the areas agribusinesses and was able to develop a keen understanding of the industry, as well as make lifelong connections.  As feedstock is the bulk of the cost of producing Bio-Diesel, Dr. Yano’s understanding and experience will undoubtedly play big role is the success of our feedstock programs.
